Flavia heads FLoWEN, a sculptural jewelry object-making laboratory focused on design driven and computer generated pieces of wearable art.

The collection was featured by the Met’s Costume Institute by Andrew Bolton in Manus X Machina, and exhibited in company of the likes of Rei Kawakubo, and Iris Van Herpen. FLoWEN has also been featured in Paris and New York Fashion Weeks, Elle Magazine, WWD and the L.A. Times. Currently, FLoWEN pieces are owned by high end collectors and have been exhibited at the Rubell Museum in Miami and the Page Museum in Los Angeles.

With her deep roots in the art world,  Flavia moved to Florida and immersed in the art world as Associate Director at the renowned Wynwood gallery DLFA, also serving in parallel as committee member for Art in Public Places for the City of Miami Beach. Her curatorial work includes mor.pha.la.xis: Regeneration in Design and Architecture as well as shows focusing emerging innovative artists.

Prior to moving to the U.S. in the late 90s, Flavia was the founder/buyer of L’Emporio, housing multiple high end designers in a five story concept store in upscale Buenos Aires – introducing fashion houses such as Dolce&Gabbana, Versace, Moschino, Roberto Cavalli, Alberta Ferretti and DKNY to name a few.

She was the only buyer representing the Argentinean market attending seasonal fashion shows in Milan, London and New York. She also produced her own fashion shows for high-end clientele.

In her work one can find the seed for the ambitions to bridge art, design, film and fashion culture together.
